Giving back to the community
We believe our business has a responsibility to give back to the local community, by staying or dinning with 6 on Sixteen you choose to travel with generosity and give back. We also have a responsibility to help those on whom we rely as our suppliers and guides, to improve their standard of living. By buying direct from the ethnic minority people in Sapa we are trying to support positive change. We think socially aligned sourcing is a step in the right direction for positive change.
We provide a nurturing and supportive environment for our staff team of underprivileged youth and Ethnic minority people. Our entire team of over 80 people have been hand chosen because they come from disadvantaged households from various provinces and minority groups in Viet Nam, having little or no education. Our mission is to provide our people with vocational training, support and encouragement to give them and their families an opportunity for a better future. Our team is our family and we look after every aspect of their daily lives including accommodation, meals, transport, dentist, doctors , etc. Our teams have been thoroughly trained and we am sure you find them to be a fun and very enthusiastic bunch who will attend to all your requests.
